Senior Home Care by Angels Cambridge & Guelph provides home care services to senior clients as our name suggests, but we also provide home care services for adults of any age. Adults with disabilities, or who may be recovering from surgery, or who have a chronic illness and may find it difficult to perform daily tasks.
We offer non-medical care to help clients with their Activities-of-Daily-Living in order to help them stay in their homes, safely and comfortably, for as long as they want. Our services include: grooming and bathing, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, mobility support, errands and shopping, transportation support (eg. attending appointments), as well as Companionship Care (eg. social outings, walks, reading, conversation) and Respite Care for families. We also offer specialty care: Alzheimer’s/Memory Care, Parkinson’s Care, and End-of-Life Care.
Clients are exempt from HST tax if they are receiving care from Home and Community Care Support Services (formerly the LHIN) or have Veteran Affairs benefits. We also work with insurance companies if clients have benefits. For clients that have a developmental disability, they can use their Passport Funding to pay for home care services or respite care for their families.
We can provide as much or as little care as needed. It can be on a short term or long term basis, up to 24 hours per day.
