Position Overview
Under the direction of the Facility Operations Manager, the Property Officer is responsible to ensure effective and efficient asset management, lease management, inventory control, and building security. The Property Officer assists in the maintenance of all capital asset inventory records and preparation of annual inventory audit reports for review by Service Managers. The Property Officer is responsible for coordinating janitorial services for all Dilico sites. The Property Officer will be the central point of contact for and provide support to the District Offices, Auto RD, Richmond RD, Dog Lake RD, Hunter RD, ARTC, Day Treatment, and all Agency Staffed Homes and all other Agency locations.

Number of Positions: 1 (1 year contract)
Position Location: Thunder Bay, ON (this is not a remote position)

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum two years experience in inventory control, database management, and quality purchasing
Minimum two years administration experience
Sound working knowledge of databases
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Productivity Software
ability to work productively with limited supervision and under stress of deadlines;
ability to follow direction and work as a member of a team;
ability to maintain confidentiality;
good written and verbal communications skills;
excellent spelling, punctuation and general grammar;
excellent computer and typing skills;
ability to work within the policies, procedures and the vision, mission and core values of Dilico Anishinabek Family Care;
good knowledge of the Anishinabek culture and issues affecting Anishinabek children, families and communities in and around the district of Thunder Bay;
ability to understand and/or speak an Anishinabek language
This position requires efficiency, courtesy, and organization at all times
Must possess a valid Class “G” Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle.
$1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance
Must complete a criminal records check.
Must have willingness to travel throughout the district
