A large part of Northwestern Ontario can expect a wet couple of days heading into the Thanksgiving weekend.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for a large swath of the region, including Kenora, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, and parts of the Far North, with up to 40 millimetres of rain possible.
The forecast is predicting rain through Thursday and easing during the day on Friday, which could also include isolated thunderstorms.
Flooding in low-lying areas is also possible, Environment Canada added.
