A sudden death is being investigated in Onigaming First Nation

The body will undergo a post mortem exam today in Toronto.

ONIGAMING — OPP are working with the Treaty Three Police Service (T3PS) after a sudden death in Onigaming First Nation. 

T3PS were called to a home on Onigaming Road on March 20 just after 9 p.m.

Both agencies will be investigating the death and have a large presence at the scene; investigators believe there is no threat to public safety. 
 
The body will undergo a postmortem exam on March 24 in Toronto. 

The investigation is being conducted by the OPP North West crime unit under the direction of the OPP's criminal investigation branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario's forensic pathology service.

OPP forensic identification services are assisting in the investigation.
