DRYDEN — A 47-year-old faces multiple charges after a police investigation into a break-in that happened last month.
Provincial police said the suspect was arrested on Thursday and charged after police responded to a break-and-enter in progress at a residence on Falls Road in Zealand Township just after midnight on Aug. 20.
The responding officers found there was forced entry to the residence.
The accused is charged with assault with a weapon, theft, mischief, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
The accused remains in custody and is expected to appear in a Kenora court on Sept. 11.
