Update: Highway 17 reopened after collision west of Dryden

DRYDEN — Highway 17 has been reopened after a collision forced a closure for several hours while provincial police investigated.

Provincial police had been detouring traffic west of Dryden in the Municipality of Machin. 

Highway 17 had closed between Kondra Road and Baptist Church Road. 

Westbound traffic was being detoured down Griffith Road to Highway 594 and back to Highway 17.

Eastbound traffic was being detoured to Highway 594.
