KENORA — The COVID-19 outbreak at a unit of the Lake of the Woods District Hospital is officially over.
The hospital publicly declared an end to the outbreak on Monday after consultation with the Northwestern Health Unit.
Visiting Unit 2E is now allowed between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. The hospital asks that anyone experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness refrain visiting, though.
The outbreak, with an undisclosed number of infected patients, was declared in mid-November.
