DRYDEN — Multiple police detachments were involved in a recent investigation that ended in the seizure of suspected illicit drugs.
OPP members from Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Red Lake collaborated in an investigation that brought a search warrant to a home on Hearst Avenue in Dryden.
At around noon on Nov. 22, police searched the home and collected unspecified quantities of suspected cocaine and crack.
A 47-year-old woman is facing numerous charges, including possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora.
