MISHKEEGOGAMANG FIRST NATION — A load of drugs and cash were seized by NAPS during a recent investigation.
Three suspects were arrested by NAPS (Nishnawbe Aski Police Service) officers when a search warrant was executed at a home in Mishkeegogamang on Nov. 23.
Officers from NAPS and OPP entered the home on James Road and located three suspects inside.
A search of the home led to the seizure of a quantity of suspected cocaine, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
A 28-year-old man from Winnipeg was arrested along with a 28-year-old and 47-year-old from Mishkeegogamang First Nation; all are facing drug-related charges.
The Winnipeg man was remanded into custody with a future court appearance date. The other two accused have been released with future court rates.
