DRYDEN – A collision in Dryden has led to the arrest of a Dryden woman.

Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to a crash on Dec. 11 at about 4 p.m. on Memorial Avenue and determined one of the motorists involved had consumed alcoholic beverages.

The driver, 21, was placed under arrest and taken to the OPP detachment for further testing.

The accused was charged with dangerous operation, mischief, rendering property dangerous, useless or ineffective, operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and mischief over $5,000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to be back in court in Dryden on Jan. 20, 2025.

It is Newswatch policy not to name people accused of a crime if it is unlikely we will follow the case through its conclusion in court.
