EAGLE RIVER — Ontario Provincial Police in Dryden say they’ve arrested and charged a 23-year-old man with impaired driving after a traffic stop in nearby Eagle River.
Police said they were notified about a complaint on March 26 at around 11 a.m., on Highway 594 in the community, located about 30 kilometres west of Dryden.
In a media release issued on Tuesday, police said they investigated, subsequently arrested the driver and took him back to the Dryden detachment for further testing.
OPP said they charged the driver with driving while impaired and driving while suspended.
Police said the man was released from custody with a next court date of May 5.
