DRYDEN – Dryden Regional Health Centre has declared a COVID-19 outbreak after several patients tested positive. To combat the outbreak, the DRHC has set out their COVID control protocols as outlined.

“We are taking every precaution to minimize the spread of COVID within our buildings and prioritize the health and safety of our patients and staff”, says Doreen Armstrong-Ross, President and Chief Executive Officer at Dryden Regional Health Centre. “DRHC continues to be a safe place for patients in the community to receive the care they need. However, patience and understanding is needed from our public with the necessary added precautions and infection control measures required at this time.”

There will be no service disruptions as a result of the outbreak and outpatient treatment will continue; however, instead, anyone looking to receive medical treatment at the DRHC is to use extreme caution. Mask up and use hand sanitizer regularly while inside.
