EMO — The Township of Emo has issued a boil water advisory after a temporary water shut-off while repairs are being made to the infrastructure.
Municipal staff are reporting that 40 connections are affected which include residences on Colonization Road between Florence Street and Kitchener Street, Bling Street, Cherlyn Bay, Echo Lake Estates, Norlund’s, and Truck Fill Station.
Seven commercial connects along Highway 11-71 west of Kitchener Street are also affected.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice, according to the press release from municipal staff.
