KASABONIKA LAKE – A 19-year-old male died in an ATV accident on Friday in Kasabonika Lake First Nation.
Nishnawbe Aski Police Service officers working out of the Kasabonika Lake detachment received a call regarding a collision involving an ATV around 5 p.m.
One person was reported to be injured and sent to the community nursing station, where he died from injuries that are believed to have been sustained in the crash.
The collision remains under investigation, but it was believed to have been a single-vehicle rollover.
