Firearm stolen in Fort Frances break and enter

Police say break-and-enter and theft occurred on Saturday, Oct. 26.

FORT FRANCES -- Police say a pump-action .22-calibre firearm was among the items stolen during a break-in at a Fort Frances residence.

Ontario Provincial Police, in a release issued on Saturday, said the incident took place on Saturday, Oct. 26, at a property on Mill Road.

Aside from the gun, personal items and electronics were stolen during the theft.

Police continue to investigate.
