FORT FRANCES -- A Fort Frances man is facing an attempted murder charge following an incident Tuesday morning.
According to a Rainy River Ontario Provincial Police release, officers responded to an assault on Tuesday, June 14 after 7 a.m. outside a location on Fifth Street East.
Officers located an individual with life-threatening injuries who was transported to hospital for medical treatment by Rainy River EMS.
As a result of the investigation at the scene, Joshua PARDY, age 30 of Fort Frances, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
The accused was remanded into custody and appeared before an Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on June 15.
