THUNDER BAY – Motorists are being asked to avoid a stretch of Highway 11/17 due to a serious collision.
The highway is closed in both directions from Sistonens Corners to Shabaqua and motorists are told to expect delays as traffic control is in place.
There is no go around available.
The Ontario Provincial Police said that they expect the road to be closed for most of the day and that more information will be provided when it is available.
