KENORA — The Trans-Canada Highway was closed in the Kenora area Monday morning due to a traffic collision.
Ontario 511 reported the closure affects Highway 17A (the Kenora bypass) in both directions between Highway 658 and the west junction with Highway 17.
Traffic control was in place.
According to OPP, three vehicles were involved in the collision.
No details were available, but video posted on social media showed a transport truck on fire.
Motorists were advised to monitor Ontario 511 for updates on the status of the closure.
