Highway 17 closed west of Dryden, Highway 105 at Vermilion Bay

Weather conditions are being blamed for the closures, which affect traffic on Highway 17 an Highway 105.

DRYDEN — Bad weather has led to traffic disruptions west of Dryden.

According to Ontario 511, Highway 17 is closed in both directions between Kenora and Dryden. The closure began just after 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Highway 105 is also closed in both directions, between Vermilion Bay and Ear Falls.

There is no indication how long the highways are expected to be closed.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the area.
