GERALDTON — The OPP had originally closed a portion of Highway 11 in both directions for a collision but has since reopened most of the highway, with the exception of a partial lane.

It's now being reported by Ontario 511 that a jackknifed tractor-trailer is causing one lane to be closed on Highway 11 southbound at Cedar Shores, close to Beardmore.

Previously, in a Facebook post, the provincial police indicated that the highway is closed in both directions, approximately a kilometre west of Jellicoe.

Police indicated that a 49-year-old man from Winnipeg was charged with careless driving.
