DRYDEN — A complaint about a possible impaired driver has led to a 43-year-old from Thunder Bay facing charges.
Provincial police officers in Dryden received the traffic complaint from a local business for a vehicle on Highway 17 in the area of Zealand township on the afternoon of Sept. 9.
Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, with the investigation determining the driver was impaired by alcohol.
The driver faces two impaired driving charges and was issued a 90-day licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment.
A court date is scheduled in Dryden for next month.
