A 25-year-old has been charged with impaired driving after trying to cross the border into Canada.
Provincial police said the driver was attempting to cross the border from the U.S. on the evening of July 14.
The Canada Border Services Agency contacted police, which arrested the driver.
The driver was taken to the OPP detachment and has been charged with one count of impaired driving.
The vehicle was seized for seven days and the driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days.
The accused, who is from Rainy River First Nation, has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Fort Frances court next month.
