RED LAKE — An early morning collision has led to a Red Lake resident facing a drinking and driving charge.

Provincial police responded to the single-vehicle crash at a residential building on Opichii Street in Red Lake just after 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said the investigation led to the determination that the driver was impaired by alcohol.

The accused faces two impaired driving charges and is expected to appear in a Red Lake court in September.
