RED LAKE — One person faces impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle crash over the weekend.
Provincial police officers were called to the incident on Highway 125 in Red Lake on Saturday evening.
Police said the driver was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The investigation led officers to determine that the driver was impaired by alcohol and that the vehicle had been taken without consent, police said.
A 21-year-old from Pickle Lake is charged with two counts relating to impaired driving, taking a motor vehicle without consent, and having a blood-alcohol content above zero while being a novice driver.
