KENORA --- Make a date with your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms this Valentine's Day.
Kenora Fire is reminding residents the importance of testing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
Fire officials say test the beep to protect the ones you love.
If you don't hear the beep:
1) Check the battery. You may need a new battery.
2) Check the date. Do you need to replace the unit?
By law, every home in Ontario must have a working smoke alarm on every storey and outside all sleeping areas.
