ONTARIO — A tentative agreement between striking employees and the LCBO is on hold.
CTV is reporting that the LCBO is refusing to sign a return-to-work agreement.
LCBO workers went on strike on July 5 in response to the province's decision to allow ready-to-drink beverages in grocery and convenience stores.
Robert Mithrush is the president of the Liquor Board Employees Division with OPSEU Local 741.
Before the deal was put on hold, he said they were planning to picket until the deal is ratified "to inform people the reasons why we were out originally out here."
This is a developing story, and will be updated as more information becomes available.
