ATIKOKAN - Members of the Atikokan OPP are investigating a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 approximately five kilometres west of Flanders Road.
According to OPP, a 29-year-old lone driver from Thunder Bay was transported to hospital by EMS to be treated for their injuries.
During their investigation Highway 11 was closed for 10 hours and reopened by 1:00 a.m. on January 3.
The OPP's Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team is assisting with the investigation into the cause of the collision and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
