Local theft ends in charges

DRYDEN — A theft at a local business has resulted in charges being laid. 

OPP in Dryden responded to a call for service on Nov. 4 around 7 p.m. 

Police investigated a theft at a local business and identified a suspect. 

A 46-year-old from Dryden has been charged with theft under $500. 

The accused has been held in custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Nov. 5. 

It is Newswatch policy not to name people facing criminal accusations when the case is unlikely to be followed to its conclusion through the courts.
