KENORA — A 21-year-old from Alberta faces multiple charges after police were called to a Kenora hotel.
Provincial police said officers were called to the scene on the afternoon of June 16, after a large amount of drugs were found in a room.
Police said large quantities of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl were found. The drugs have an estimated street value of over $200,000. Police also seized cash.
The investigation led to an Alberta resident being identified as a suspect and arrested.
The accused is charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of proceeds of crime.
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court next week.
