UPSALA, ON — A man who was missing for almost two weeks has been located in the Upsala area.
The individual, who was from Sarnia, hadn't been seen since Aug. 8 in Kakabeka Falls and was reported missing two days later while he was on an e-bike trip from southern Ontario to Manitoba.
OPP reported Monday morning that the man was spotted Sunday by an off-duty Nishnawbe Aski Police Service officer who was driving along Highway 17 outside Upsala.
The officer stopped to engage in conversation and confirmed he was the missing person.
