Investigators arrested four people on Tuesday after a three-month-long investigation around the possible sale of illicit drugs.

Officers in multiple units with T3PS and OPP executed a search warrant at a home in Couchiching First Nation.

During the search, police seized what is believed to be cocaine, crack cocaine, approximately $5,000 in Canadian cash and other items associated with trafficking illicit substances.

Police were able to charge three people in the investigation: a 59-year-old female and a 27-year-old female from Couchiching First Nation, along with a 34-year-old male from Seine River First Nation. They are each facing various drug-related charges and possession of property obtained in a crime.

All three accused have been released and have future court dates.
