SUDBURY — MineConnect is seeking nominations for its annual Hall of Fame induction.

The organization, which represents mining service and supply companies in Northern Ontario, annually selects members to receive recognition for their enduring contributions to Northern Ontario’s mining industry over their lifetimes.

To be eligible, nominees must be members of MineConnect and have at least 20 years of documented accomplishment and significant impact on the industry.

That includes contributing to the economic health of the region, demonstrating innovation and vision, and helping to create jobs for northerners.

Since the Hall of Fame was created in 2007, 29 people from across the North have been added to the Hall’s ranks. In 2023, Alistair Ross and John Mason were added to the list.

MineConnect members have until Dec. 15 to submit their suggestions via the organization’s online nomination form, which is available here.

The inauguration ceremony will take place Feb. 15, 2025 at Collège Boréal in Sudbury.
