IGNACE — One person was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash between a snow plow and a transport on the Trans Canada Highway.
Provinical police said the incident happened just before 1 a.m. Friday on Highway 17 near Camp Lake Road in Ignace.
Police said a 75-year-old from Ignace, whose name was not publicly released, died at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured, police said.
Highway 17 remains closed between Dryden and Shabaqua.
