FORT FRANCES – Early Thursday morning, Rainy River OPP and Emergency Medical Services responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Agamiing Drive.
Officers determined that the resulting collision and surrounding property damage was caused by the driver who was impaired by alcohol.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to a local hospital for medical assessment.
As a result, a 21-year-old from Mine Centre was arrested and charged with impaired and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court next month.
