One person charged with spousal assault in Dryden

DRYDEN — OPP in Dryden have arrested one person after responding to a call for service. 

Officers responded to a call at an address on First Street at approximately 2 p.m. on Sunday. 

A 22-year-old has been charged with spousal assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000, failing to comply with a probation order, as well as two counts of domestic mischief. 

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden at a later date.

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
