KENORA — Two people from Manitoba face charges after police recovered a stolen vehicle in Kenora.

On Wednesday, provincial police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle within the Kenora city limits.

Once officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop, police also found suspected methamphetamine and other items associated with drug trafficking.

As a result, a 29-year-old from Steinbach and a 33-year-old from Winnipeg have been arrested and charged with possession of drugs, obstructing a police officer, and failure to comply with a release order.
