KENORA – In the afternoon on Feb. 16., Kenora OPP responded to an assault in the area of Second Street South.
OPP stated that officers and emergency medical services attended to one individual with non-life-threatening injuries.
The individual was transported to the hospital and treated for their injuries.
As a result, a 36-year-old from Whitefish Bay First Nation has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the court on Feb. 20.
