IGNACE — Ontario Provincial Police have released the results of a commercial motor vehicle enforcement (CMV) operation on Highway 17 at Ignace.
Vehicles designated as CMVs include tractor-trailers.
OPP said they stopped 26 vehicles on Tuesday to conduct mandatory alcohol screening and to ensure compliance with provincial requirements for documentation.
All 26 truck drivers passed the screening tests, but there were problems with documentation.
Police wound up issuing 25 Provincial Offence Notices as well as five warnings.
