A sign made out of sticks left along a remote bush road helped police track down several overdue anglers.

Provincial police said the anglers were found on a road about an hour north of Upsala, where their truck was stuck in a mud hole.

Police said officers found a sign of sticks spelling out "HELP" along the roadway.

The anglers were found safe and all were within their walleye limits, police added.
