SIOUX LOOKOUT -- The Ontario Provincial Police say they're looking into a potential stabbing in Sioux Lookout.
In a release issued on Friday, police said they were called to a report of an incident of an individual who had been assaulted with an edged weapon at a Miller Crescent residence.
The victim was taken to hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
The release does not indicate an arrest, but police say there don't believe there is any current threat to public safety. However, OPP said the public can expect an increased police presence in the area.
