OPP is investigating a collision with a pedestrian

OPP said the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and released a short time later.

DRYDEN – According to the Dryden OPP, on Feb. 1, just before 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a call for service when a pick-up truck collided with a pedestrian near the intersection of Van Horne Avenue and Duke Street in the City of Dryden.

OPP said the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and released a short time later.  

Provincial Constable Chris Chevrier said the circumstances involving the incident are still being investigated and no charges have been laid at this time.

Officers with the detachment are asking the public to come forward with any information. Anyone with dash camera footage or any witnesses are asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
