DRYDEN – According to OPP Northwest Region, officers with the Dryden OPP Detachment responded to an incident of spousal abuse at a residence on Third Street on the evening of July 16.
As a result, a 33-year-old has been charged with assault with a weapon and spousal assault.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court in August.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
