OPP looking for a missing person

Sioux Lookout OPP is requesting assistance in locating an individual from Sioux Lookout.

SIOUX LOOKOUT — OPP Northwest Region is asking the public for information regarding Jeremy Sergerie, 23, who was last seen on the morning of June 21 entering a wooded area behind Cedar Crescent.

Police describe him as 5'8", Indigenous, with a slight build and short black hair.

He was wearing a yellow hoodie, dark-coloured T-shirt, black pants, and brown boots and carrying an assortment of bags, including a green backpack, black duffle bag, and beige satchel.  

Police believe he was headed north from Sioux Lookout and may have been hitchhiking along Highways 516/599 with a possible destination of Pipestone River Provincial Park.

Police and family are concerned for Sergerie’s safety.
