OPP make arrests after stolen vehicle from Alberta spotted in Ignace

IGNACE – Officers with the Ignace detachment of the OPP located a stolen motor vehicle from Alberta travelling on Highway 17.

According to OPP, the vehicle was travelling on Highway 17 in Ignace Township when officers initiated a traffic stop.

As a result, a 29-year-old and 26-year-old from Elmwood, N.B, have been arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The accused have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the court on April 3.
