OPP officer employs “strategic communication” to help wildlife

The OPP regularly use strategic communication and rapport building when working with people - and wildlife - in the communities they serve.

DRYDEN – This week the OPP in Dryden employed “strategic communication and rapport building” to help some local wildlife.

“PC Van Loon of the Dryden OPP demonstrated effective use of these skills by safely negotiating this angry beaver out of harms way,” said a Facebook post on Ontario Provincial Police – North West Region.

Another job well done for the OPP in the North West Region.
