Provincial police in the Ear Falls area have nabbed multiple impaired drivers in the last few days.
On Aug. 11, OPP in Ear Falls responded to a traffic complaint on Balsam Avenue. Officers located the parked vehicle with the driver still inside.
During the investigation, the officers determined the 52-year-old driver from Winnipeg was impaired by alcohol and driving while under suspension.
The driver was transported to the Red Lake OPP detachment and was released from custody.
The driver is scheduled to appear in a Red Lake court in October.
On Sunday, during a RIDE program stop at the corner of Highway 105 and Highway 804, officers arrested and charged a 43-year-old with impaired driving.
The driver was transported to the Red Lake Detachment and was released from custody.
