KENORA — As part of the Synergy North Investment Project, Hydro One technicians will be switching off the power at the Rabbit Lake Switching Station to replace aging equipment that has reached the end of its life cycle.
The updates to the switching station will enable the station to operate with two power sources eliminating the need for future outages while switching between them.
Synergy North has planned the outage to last eight hours, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST on Sunday.
Synergy North claims they are committed to minimizing the impact on residents and businesses for a timely restoration of power once the project is completed.
