School buses cancelled throughout NWO on Friday

Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says Sioux Narrows School will be closed on Friday, but all of its other schools will remain open despite no transportation availability.

KENORA – Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has announced school buses will not be operating on Friday due to current and forecasted inclement weather and road conditions.

The decision effects students in Kenora, Sioux Narrows, Ear Falls, Red Lake, Vermillion Bay, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Ignace and Upsala.

Pickle Lake bus PL81 will be operational on Friday.

The board also announced Sioux Narrows School will be closed for the day.
