SIOUX NARROWS-NESTER FALLS – The Townships of Sioux Narrow and Nester Falls inform their residents that people ages 60 and over and First Nation, Inuit and Metis individuals and their non-Indigenous household members ages 19 and over are now eligible for a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

However, there are some key things to know before community members get their booster:

  • Eligible individuals can now book an appointment for their fourth dose by using the Northwestern Health Unit’s online booking system - https://clinicreservation.com/book-now/northwestern-health-unit
  • The fourth dose is offered to eligible individuals at a recommended interval of five months (140 days) after receiving their last booster; however, there are medical exceptions; therefore, the gap can be reduced to three months (84 days)
  • Anyone recovering from COVID should wait at least three months after infection to get their booster dose.
