Seven arrested on outstanding warrants in Fort Frances

After a local initiative to hold wanted individuals accountable, OPP and Treaty Three Police captured seven on various offences.

FORT FRANCES – Provincial police and the Treaty Three Police Service report that they have concluded a local initiative to reduce the number of wanted individuals in the town and surrounding areas.

As a result, officers from both services have arrested seven people on warrants that range from violent offences to drug, property, and bail violations.

According to OPP, the initiative focused on public safety and was designed to safely apprehend those living in the district.
